The China Overseas Investment Fair(COIFAIR), which has organized by China Overseas Development Association for 10 consecutive years, is playing an important role in boosting the Belt and Road cooperation to go deeper, as well as proactively promoting the Chinese enterprises to go global.
The 11th COIFAIR will be held at China National Convention Center in Beijing on 28-29 November 2019. With its theme of “Collaborating on High-Quality Construction for Prosperous Belt and Road Development”, it will put forth effort to build the international investment cooperation platform for businesses all over the world.
Concentrated on the hot economic topics of high quality development, the 11th COIFAIR will focus on the match making meetings between enterprises and projects, hosting a series of events such as the opening ceremony and plenary forum, 8 overseas investment oriented forums, 8 industrial cooperation sessions, 8 country promotion seminars, setting up exhibition and negotiations zones, totally more than 30 parallel activities including the debut of SCO Countries and China’s digital high-tech development. It is expected that over 110 countries and 1,000 companies will participate this year.
Over the previous 10 years, every COIFAIR attracted around 100 countries and regions as well as and exceeded 2,300 professional guests. Chinese and foreign state leaders and relevant ministers attended the opening ceremony and delivered keynote speeches. A total of 310 forums, 2,460 speakers and 65,000 participants presented, arranged over 230 projects matching meetings, and signed 260 cooperation documents with about $11 billion investment volume, exhibited 510 stands with more than 290,000 visitors. Besides, around 80 Chinese and foreign media had given extensive coverage of COIFAIR, providing effective information for those investment agencies and companies at home and abroad.
